The Southern Choral Centre
Choral life combines possibilities and energies which are hard to bring together in other circumstances.
In order to take advantage of this and pave the way for future choral singers the programme offices and concert division at the Academy and Choral life in Southern Sweden have joined forces and established the Southern Choral Centre.
Formally, it is a central organisation run by Lund University with an office placed at the Malmö Academy of Music.
The Southern Choral Centre started in December 2007 and has the goal to, in dialogue with all participants, strengthen choral life nationally and internationally through coordinating and initiating education programmes, concert productions and research.
